Has THIS happened to YOU?

Well, I've experienced something that I bet 99.9% of the world has not.

My daughter bit my belly button.

Yep.

Thought she was going to kiss my tummy like she always does and say hello to the current resident of my womb.

Instead, she BIT my OUTIE.

Should I call Ripley's Believe It or Not?

** Note! She was playing. Like when she pretends to eat a picture of food in one of her books. She certainly didn't hurt me and I knew she was being silly. It was just a surprise to feel her little teeth on my belly button!**

OUCH! that makes me cringe!

what did you do? my instinct would be to swat at whatever was biting me, which would have been unfortunate for her!

While Supergirl has not truly bitten me yet, just today she began to throw a fit when I picked her up. She got this strange look on her face while screaming and suddenly lunged, mouth wide open, right at my cheek. I managed to hold her far enough away, but I couldn't definitely tell had she been close enough, I might have had a part of my face missing right now!

OH! It wasn't a hard bite at all! It was more like...a quick nibble followed by a giggle. But it still felt weird and made our mouths fall open at the odd move.

Totally weird. Not your child, just the action. I don't know how I would have reacted. Good job not reacting with another bite back.

Now I understand... Micheal does the same thing, eating my arm, or my cheek, or my nose, but we've been working on not using teeth. So she was just "eating your belly" and got more than she bargained for! How cute!
