ANYWAY...
Bella, being the concerned intern that she is, patted her daddy sweetly and told him he'd be okay after checking him out.
When he started feeling better, I made him swear to go to the doctor for a check-up. Being a man, he said he was fine and didn't need a stinkin doctor. I growled and gave him The Look.
Then Bella asked if he had to go to the doctor.
He looked at me, defeated, and mumbled something resembling a "yes".
Bella's eyes lit up, she started clapping excitedly and exclaimed, "YAY! Daddy hasa go to tha dawtor!"
She's the only person who really seems to appreciate our healthcare system.

Jenn - have him RUN, don't walk to the doctor.
Bubby had high blood pressure and was a very healthy man...until two years ago when they had to revive him on the table after a heart-attack. Thank God that he had it in the hospital or I would have been a widow.
High blood pressure is a very serious thing! It can be a catalyst for all sorts of problems.
Keep us up to date!
Oh, he's going. I've located several docs for him to choose from and he's promised to get a full physical (doesn't that start at age 35 anyway?)
I'll lay on the guilt heavily if I have to!
Yeah, sic Isabella on him! No Daddy can resist the wishes of his adorable two year old!
Jenn, if you can figure out a way to make a guy go by themselve to a doctor without you making the appointment for them and nagging them, I'd like to know the secret.
I actually have my husband inside the waiting room, and he bolted!
Now I'm going to have to be more creative to have him go to the doctor and actually wait to see the doctor! men!
