If I could only count the number of times Izzy fell off the couch, bed, chair etc.You are still #1 in my world!
Babies are like bumbles... they bounce. :)
OMG, The Boy has been falling since he learned to walk at 10 months (seriously, I had an infant who walked). It's amazing that rolling off the couch spooks us more than them, though!
You know my SIL told me when I cried about the same thing: that the first time they roll off, and they all do, you feel like TOTAL crap by the third or fourth time you accept... they are just rolly pollies and that is what they do! LOLYou are still number one to her and us so no worries!!!! Just make sure there is nothing for her to hit if it happens and pray it doesn't, when it does... well snuggle her in and coo and give yourself a moment to let your heart rate return to normal, then let her down... because by that point she wants away... and smile as she happily does her thing!
Thanks everyone! I feel much better. :)At least I didn't trip while walking out of the dry cleaners, holding onto my infant until hitting the concrete on my elbow resulting in flinging her across the parking lot like with Bella. I'm STILL not over that, even though she wasn't injured and I had to go to the ER!
Thank God for resiliency in babies! =) They forget about it a few minutes after, we remember it for a life time. It all part of the this thing we have come to know as mothering hehe =) No guilty feelings, we've all been there!
neither one of my kids has rolled off the couch buuut ... (wait for it) ... they've both rolled off the bed.yep.
