Here's proof that Ava has good days.
Did you ever notice you have far more pics with your children posing with everyone but you?
I got creative. If you have a digital camera, you can take a self-portrait if you take the pic with the view window on the camera reflecting in the bathroom mirror. Oh yeah. Total geek move.
Ava had fun. For at least five minutes. Think I'll try this technique with both girls.

That's a great idea!!! Although The Boy is five now and sits rather well for pictures. If only I can get him to not do the "robot" smile...
HA! I know that smile! Friends of ours quit bothering with Christmas photos of their boy because he ALWAYS does the robot smile. Bella does her fake flashy smile. Just as bad.
I love the pictures! Two beautiful girls!
Hey! Did you know you can even set the timer on your digital camera to take a picture of you? But I like the mirror thingie better. I'm SO not geeky enough to figure out the timer.
Beautiful and beautiful baby girl =) And that is so true, looking back I only had a few pictures with my eldest so now, I WILL take your advise and follow your tips =)
that is a great idea!
much better than: "honey! quick! come take a picture of us. he is being so cute! and my hair is fixed! hurry! oh, wait. well, um. we can still try it. oh, sh**. well. nevermind."
that is what usually happens around here.
Sad. It didn't even occur to me that the camera might have a timer!
And I guess this idea only works if you want lots of pictures in your bathroom. Maybe I'll just prop up a mirror wherever I want a pic. Like, the park. Wouldn't that raise eyebrows?
great pictures! Ava is just adorable and you look radiant! I like the mirror in the park idea. Although, I've found that the timer is easier. hehehe
What a cute!!! Adorable. We took some pics like that with my husband. She LOVED the baby in the mirror.
Oh you are SO right, I love the idea, maybe I will try it... although I am strange position photograph retarded! LOL Seriously... could you get any cuter? You have that cute Texas thing going on, while I have that "cute" NW thing going on- are you aware that grunge came from here... what does that say about me? LMAO
OH...MAH..GAWD...I have a Texas look about me, ya'll? DAAAAAAAMN.
Well, I was born in Austin, but I've lived in many states before settlin these parts!
SO beautiful.
you both look LOVELY.
GREAT shots; loved them!
