Bella has learned her first joke. Now she likes to make up her own.
"Not, not"
Who's there?
"Owanj"
Orange, who?
"Owanj you gad to see me?" *giggle*
Then that spins into:
"Not, not"
Who's there?
"Bankie"
Um, blankie who?
"Bankie to wrap you up? " *bursts into laughter at her own cleverness*
"Wait! Wait! No!...Not, not!"
Who's there?
"ABA!"
Ava, who?
"Aba's gad to see you!!" *laughs so loud, her little sister's arms fling out in alarm*

i wish i could teach mine to say something other than:
"knock knock"
(me: who's there?)
"knock knock"
(me: who's there?)
"knock knock"
(me: who's there?)
"knock knock"
(me: who's there?)
"knock knock"
(me: does this joke have a punch line?)
"BA AHAHAHAHAHAH"
ha! Funny :)
I was very surprised when she told me the joke yesterday, correctly. Made me wonder for a sec who's kid she is because neither my husband or I ever tell a joke the right way.
"not, not!"
ahahahaha!
Love it!
Emily gives the knock-knock jokes a good go but, she never introduces characters other than an apple or a banana!
It's still cute.
I need to start posting more Emily's lines...thanks for the laughter, well, thank-you ISABELLA, for the laughter!
Very funny!
My kids tell the banana and orange one... over, and over, and over, and over. Until I want to stick pensils in my ears, sometimes. :)
I can't wait for the toddler jokes, hahaha!
All we've got over here so far is the made up songs, which are also comedic GOLD.
Oh I just love made up songs! Way cuter than made up jokes.
