Mixed Messages
Bella: "Mama, I am soooo anry!"
Me: You're angry? Why?
Bella: "Becus you my BES FRIEND!"
Later that same day...
Bella: * sighs*
Me: What is it, honey?
Bella: "Ahmstar fintodet"
Me: Excuse me?
She dramatically throws herself against the pillows on the couch.
Bella: "Ahmstar fintodet"
Me: Okay. Seriously. What ARE you saying?
Bella, exasperated: "I AM STARFIN TO DET!"
Me: You are starving to death?
She giggles and pretends to go to sleep.
